This course will provide the foundation skills to be job ready as a barista.
You will learn how to identify and control food hazards, prevent contamination of food that may lead to food borne illnesses and accurately report on food contamination incidents and hygiene hazards.
During this course you will learn:
– Set up an espresso machine
– Grind management and dosing
– Tasting and understanding the ranges and strengths of coffee
– Texturing and stretching milk
– Prepare espresso
– Prepare and serve a range of coffees
– Coffee art
– Clean and maintain the coffee machine
